In spite of some impressive male leaping about, I have to say I found The Golden Age quite awful, with ugly music and costumes, tedious choreography and a trivial but nonetheless hard-to-follow story, but you can make up your own mind when it is shown in cinemas on October 16. For cast and synopsis, click here
On the other hand, The Bright Stream (November 6 in the US, November 27 in Canada) is very enjoyable and I recommend it highly. Plus it stars Svetlana Lunkina!
