The Wednesday 6 pm and Thursday evening showings of A Ballerina's Tale are SOLD OUT. If you already booked your ticket online, you're ok. If not, you can try standing in line for a returned ticket. I was informed that "if you get there early enough" your chances are good to get a ticket, but when I inquired what "early enough" was, they said "an hour before". There are still some seats available for the Wed. 915 showing.

In 2013, Misty Copeland danced the lead role on opening night of American Ballet Theatre’s Firebird, to great acclaim. But once off stage she discovered she had six fractures in her left shin. A Ballerina’s Tale is an intimate look at Misty during a crucial period in her life, from the triumph of Firebird and the painful recovery to her return to ballet and emergence as a pop sensation, becoming the first African-American female principal dancer in ABT's history.
