Reflect Diverse Artistic Practices

Dance Collection Danse (DCD) celebrates Canadian dance luminaries at the 2020 Dance Collection Danse Hall of Fame, Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the Globe and Mail Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

This year’s list of inductees reflects a diverse range of Canada’s exceptional dance artists and supporters. The 2020 inductees are  
James Kudelka, O.C.; Margie Gillis, O.C., C.Q.; Ethel Bruneau; Rosario Ancer; Peter Boneham, C.M.; Michael Greyeyes
William J.S. Boyle Dance Luminary Award: Mavis Staines, C.M
Community Builders Award: Donald Ross, O.C. and Gretchen Ross. 
An addition to this year’s awards ceremony is the inaugural Sandra Faire Next Generation Award – chosen by a committee of former Hall of Fame inductees to recognize an individual age 40 or under who is beginning to make a significant impact on dance in Canada.


Highlights will include:
  • Live ceremony featuring inductees and celebrity presenters hosted by singer/songwriter Micah Barnes
  • Silent Auction with an incredible array of must-have products and services
  • Sumptuous food stations and cocktail reception
  • Fabulous live performances by the current generation of elite dancers

Dance Collection Danse (dcd.ca) is home to the diverse legacies of dance in Canada. Its aims are to collect, preserve, and celebrate these rich stories.
