Biography
Polish dancer Dawid Trzensimiech studied at the National Ballet School in Bytom, Poland and The Royal Ballet School in London. Mr. Trzensimiech joined The Royal Ballet in 2008 and was promoted to Soloist in 2012. He became Principal Dancer at Bucharest National Opera House in 2014.Mr. Trzensimiech has won numerous awards including first prize at the Gdansk National Dance Competition in 2003 and 2005 and at the International Dance Competition in Rieti, Italy. He was a finalist in the 2006 Prix de Lausanne and a medalist at the First International Ballet and Choreography Competition in Beijing in 2011.
His repertoire includes Prince in The Nutcracker, James in La Sylphide, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Florestan in The Sleeping Beauty, pas de trois in Emeralds and Rubies in Jewels, pas de six in Giselle and roles in Polyphonia, Chroma, Cinderella, Scènes de ballet, Gloria, Requiem, Voluntaries, DGV: Danse à grande vitesse and Rhapsody. He has created roles in ballets by Alastair Marriott, Wayne McGregor, Liam Scarlett, Jonathan Watkins and Christopher Wheeldon.
