Saturday April 2 PARIS

Arrive Paris. Check into the 4-star Les Jardins du Marais hotel in the lovely Marais district, 12 minutes walk from the Bastille opera house.

Sunday April 3 PARIS

Afternoon: Paris Opera Ballet performance: Rudolf Nureyev's sumptuous Romeo and Juliet. Welcome dinner.

Monday April 4 PARIS

Day at leisure. Evening 2-course dinner before Paris Opera Ballet performance: Seven Sonatas (Ratmansky), Other Dances (Robbins), Duo Concertant (Balanchine), In Creases (Peck) at the historic Palais Garnier opera house.

Tuesday April 5 PARIS

Guided tour of Paris Opera Garnier. Rest of day at leisure

Wednesday April 6 PARIS

Day trip by private coach to Claude Monet's house and garden at Giverny. Private guided tour. Lunch. Return to Paris. Rest of day at leisure.

Thursday April 7 PARIS

Day at leisure.

Friday April 8

PARIS – GHENT - AMSTERDAM

8 am: Check out of hotel. Transfer by luxury washroom-equipped private coach to Amsterdam. Noon: Arrive Ghent, Belgium. 12- minute cruise by private boat along the canal from coach park to central Ghent (12 minutes). Time for lunch, followed by private guided 90-minute walking tour of historic Ghent, with a visit to St. Bavo's Cathedral and van Eyck's masterpiece “The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb”. Free time to stock up on Belgian chocolate, have a waffle at an outdoor cafe, or stroll along the canals.

5 pm: Depart Ghent for Amsterdam


Saturday April 9 AMSTERDAM

Day at leisure. Evening: performance of Dutch National Ballet: Apollo, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Tarantella, Theme and Variations (all Balanchine)

Sunday April 10 AMSTERDAM

Day at leisure.

Monday April 11 AMSTERDAM

930 am: Private guided tour of the highlights of the recently reopened Rijksmuseum (1 hour). Evening: 3-course dinner.

Tuesday April 12 AMSTERDAM

Noon: Depart by private coach for the spectacular Keukenhof Garden

3 pm: depart Keukenhof for Zwolle (Netherlands). Farewell dinner before evening performance of Dutch National Ballet “all van Manen”: Metaforen, Two, Two, Gold Variations, Adagio Hammerklavier (

10 pm (approx): Depart Zwolle theatre by private coach and return directly to hotel.

Extra hotel nights can be added on (subject to availability), but we cannot offer individual components separately or break the package into shorter installments. Non-refundable deposit of CA$1750 per person is required at time of registration, no later than

Single supplement, optional airfare (price available on request) and optional cancellation and hospital/medical insurance are also payable at this time.

non-refundable.
