Programme includes extracts of The Firebird,
The Dying Swan, Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake, and a special commission
from Turner Prize-winner Chris Ofili.
Sampling the Myth, a programme of mixed works to be staged at Deloitte Ignite 2014, will be live-streamed via The Royal Opera House YouTube Channel at 6.50pm BST (1:50 pm Eastern Time) on Saturday 6 September 2014. The event will be available to watch online anywhere in the world (with a small number of exceptions).
The programme combines dance and visual art in a modern exploration of ancient myths through performance and film and will feature:
a special commission from Turner Prize-winning artist Chris Ofili and choreographer Aakash Odedra based on the myth of Prometheus.

George Balanchine’s Apollo;
Wayne McGregor’s Raven Girl.
World premiere of a new piece by Rambert’s Miguel Altunaga.
Three short dance films created by:
the National Ballet of Canada’s Robert Binet, Also directed by NBoC's Dylan Tedaldi and featuring Emma Hawes, Svetlana Lunkina, Jack Bertinshaw and Félix Paquet
rising choreographic talent Charlotte Edmonds,
internationally renowned choreographer Kim Brandstrup.
Casting has been confirmed for the live stream:
Roberta Marquez and Bennet Gartside will perform a pas de deux from Mikhail Fokine's The Firebird
Edward Watson and Liam Mower will perform a pas de deux from Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake.
Rambert dancers Miguel Altunaga, Estela Merlos and Hannah Rudd will perform Dark Eye, a short work based on the idea of 'The Fates'.
Yuhui Choe and Valeri Hristov will perform the Act III pas de deux from Frederick Ashton's Ondine
Marianela Nuñez will perform a solo from Mikhail Fokine's The Dying Swan
Sarah Lamb and Eric Underwood will perform an extract from Wayne McGregor's Raven Girl.
Federico Bonelli will perform a solo from George Balanchine's Apollo
