History of Ballet I: Origins to 1900

It's official! I will be offering this course in the new year, Mondays 1:30- 3:30 pm. I have pushed the start date back to February 17 so that there is less possibility of bad weather. Please see dates and course outline  below.

Price: 8 2-hour classes for $160+HST= $180.80
(Early bird discount: Save the HST if you register before January 15, 2014).

March 3: Women in White 2: Perrot and Giselle
March 10: Jumping for Joy: Bournonville and Danish Ballet (Napoli, La Sylphide)
March 17: NO CLASS
March 24: Decadence of 19th-century French ballet: Coppelia
March 31: Impressing the Tsar: Petipa and the Grand Imperial Russian style (Paquita, La Bayadere, Raymonda)
April 7: Visit to the Walter Carsen Centre for the National Ballet of Canada (to be confirmed)
April 14: Swans and Sugarplums: Ivanov (Nutcracker)
