Possible Fall trips LONDON and NEW YORK – RESPONSE NEEDED

I keep getting requests for ballet trips to London and New York, and the following are both possible this fall but I need to know now if there is interest, as I would have to shuffle my fall teaching schedule. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP (toursenlair@gmail.com) IF YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED. This is not a commitment; it is just a way for me to gauge if there is enough interest for me to pursue these further.

Friday October 7 – Friday October 14 (8 days, 5 performances)

includes Canadian Thanksgiving

London

Royal Ballet

La Fille mal Gardée (Ashton)

Birmingham Royal Ballet

The Moor's Pavane (Limon), Shakespeare Suite (Bintley), Wink (Jessica Lang)

The Tempest (Bintley)

Northern Ballet

Romeo and Juliet (Maillot)

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre

Exodus, Four Corners, Revelations (Ailey), After the Rain pas de deux (Wheeldon)
This would also include a visit to Jane Austen's house. My current rough estimate for this is about $3500 Cdn per person double occupancy,
not including airfare (currently about $1000 Cdn from Toronto)

Friday October 14 – Saturday October 16 (3 days, 3 performances)

New York

New York City Ballet

New Lovette, New Lopez Ochoa, New Walker, New Peck, Everywhere We Go (Peck)

Dances at a Gathering (Robbins), Firebird (Balanchine)

Glass Pieces (Robbins), Thou Swell (Martins), Stars and Stripes (Balanchine)

My current rough estimate for this is $1700 Cdn per person double occupancy, not including airfare (currently starting at $326 from Toronto, but with significant variations depending on time of flights)
