Ballerina Couture by NBOC First Soloist Tina Pereira

What do you do when you just can't find that perfect leotard for ballet? The one that fits just right and makes you feel great?

If you're National Ballet of Canada First Soloist Tina Pereira, you go out, buy a sewing machine, teach yourself to sew, and figure out how to make it for yourself.

Two years after that momentous purchase, and having squeezed into her hectic dancing schedule leotard couture for herself and increasingly for her fellow company members, Tina has just launched a collection of stunning leotards under the brand "Ballerina Couture".  Eight different leotard designs and one crop top are available in a variety of sizes (both children's and adults') and colours.

Asked what makes her creations different from other leotards, Tina says, "What distinguishes me from others is that these are “Fashion leotards”. You can see on the individual shop pages that we have styled them for “Ballet” and “Fashion” so you can wear these in the studio, or as a part of a fabulous outfit! I wanted to appeal to professional and aspiring ballerinas, as well as to girls and women who love to emulate the essence of a ballerina’s style in her daily fashion. "

Want to treat a dancer on your gift list to a leotard bearing the name of a National Ballet of Canada dancer? Orders placed now will ship before Christmas, and gift certificates will be available as of next week.

All leotards are made in Canada.
