After a thirty year absence from Toronto, the ground-breaking Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch company returns to perform their modern dance masterpiece Kontakthof . First staged in 1978, it has earned global praise as a masterful examination of the eternal battle of the sexes.

Marking the legendary company’s 40th anniversary, Bausch’s Kontakthof makes its Toronto debut at the Luminato Festival.

There will be four performances:
June 11 – 14, 7:30 PM at the Bluma Appel Theatre at the St Lawrence Centre for the Arts.
